'Seven Knights Reverse (hereinafter SKRB)' Siege War dark horse 'Hwasanpa' has surrendered the top spot in the overall siege rankings to the long-standing powerhouse, 'Cheolgeo'. It wasn't exactly a crushing defeat, mind you, but Cheolgeo definitely flexed its muscles to reclaim the crown. Meanwhile, in the Advent Expedition, 'Manwol' held the lead as of the mid-season check. We also saw a refreshing influx of various guilds making their mark on the siege charts.

Cheolgeo reclaims the crown in just a week

Here are the top 20 rankings for the SKRB Siege War and Advent Expedition for the first week of February. A quick heads-up: the Advent Expedition data is based on the D-6 mark, not the final season results. Looking at the overall siege scores, Cheolgeo has successfully dampened Hwasanpa's spirits to snatch back first place. 'Cheongya', 'Iluna', and 'Sinwol' held their ground, while 'Iyen', who sat at 14th last week, climbed eight spots to secure 6th place. This shuffle nudged 'Umigwan' down by one.

Moving on to the Advent Expedition records: 'Manwol' led the pack at the time of tracking, having finished 5th in the previous season. 'Trick' and 'Kungtteok' took 2nd and 3rd, respectively. It is worth noting that only a handful of guilds, including Manwol, 4th-place 'Sena Shinna', and 9th-place 'Iluna', managed to remain from last week's final results. Top guilds are increasingly opting to push their limits on the final day of the season, likely waiting to formulate the most optimal tactics once new heroes arrive. Of course, the current leaders aren't safe yet; as they say, there is no such thing as a permanent king.

Deral is on the brink of a Grand Slam

In the individual rankings for the SKRB Siege War, 'Deral' from Umigwan continues to hold the throne. If they maintain this momentum in next week's tally, they will become the first player in history to hit five consecutive weeks at number one. All eyes are on them to see if they can secure that 5-win Grand Slam. Following them are 'Lee Byung-gun' of GIGA in 2nd and 'Rio' from the 'Supplemental Lessons Department' in 3rd.

Rounding out the top 10: 4th is Iluna's 'Yong', 5th is GIGA's 'Junsurf', 6th is Cheolgeo's 'Inryeok', 7th is Platinum's 'Idongkkol', 8th is Thankyou's 'Jjukttang', 9th is Cheolgeo's 'Pyomu', and 10th is Neulgeurimyeo's 'Hibyeol'. It is quite encouraging to see GIGA and Cheolgeo both fielding two rankers each, a refreshing change from the usual solo-representative trend we have seen recently.

Siege War results by day for the 1st week of February

Let us take a look at the daily SKRB Siege War results. Since so many guilds have already hit the EX+ grade, we have decided to stop highlighting the grades themselves. From now on, we will only be presenting the TOP 5 guild results for the daily siege wars. We have also updated the imagery to make it easier to digest, so do have a look. Except for the Guardian's Castle on Monday, Cheolgeo reclaimed the top spot for every siege from Tuesday to Sunday. Hwasanpa unfortunately slipped in the rankings by a narrow margin in all but the Wednesday match.

The Monday to Wednesday sessions, which challenge players with Magic-type heroes, saw a significant spike in scores—likely thanks to the heated rivalry between Hwasanpa and Cheolgeo. They broke past previous records, hitting the 8-9 million point mark. Even without new hero releases, these scores keep climbing, suggesting that top-tier guilds are relentlessly pushing their equipment specs to the limit.

For the Ancient Dragon's Castle on Friday, the top 4 guilds all broke the 300 million point barrier. It looks like the top score will soon reach 350 million. If Sinwol puts in a bit more effort, we might see all of the top 5 clearing the 300 million mark next week. Also, barring Wednesday's 'Storm' and Saturday's 'Iyen', the top 5 guilds remained identical across every castle, mirroring the overall standings we saw earlier.

Siege War pick of the week

While SKRB drops new heroes every two weeks, recent additions have been rather underwhelming for siege warfare. The upcoming 'Lu Bu' arriving February 5th remains a wildcard, but most players are already tempering their expectations. Consequently, team compositions have become quite stagnant. The Guardian's Castle lineup of 'Evan - Miho - Biscuit - Ruri - Orly' remains the standard; the only recent tweak was swapping in Orly for 'Lina'. Unless survival against Rudy becomes a major issue, it is unlikely we will see any further departures from this setup. Best of luck with your formations!
