'Blade & Soul Revolution' (hereinafter B&S Revolution) has wrapped up the first stage of the 'Revolution Challenge Season 7', which aims to crown the strongest duo. The Round of 16 was played in a best-of-three format. Each team takes turns sending one player out for a '1vs1 Duel', followed by a '2vs2' match to settle the score. Since the first side to secure two points moves on to the quarterfinals, many matches were decided during the two 1vs1 duels. Nevertheless, all teams played the 2vs2 matches to the end, a display of sportsmanship that earned applause from the viewers.

The highlight of the Round of 16 was the performance of non-mainstream classes. A prime example was the A-Group match between 'HotDealDidntBuyIt!!' and 'ListenToUsers'. The tournament’s only Pugilist, 'Paragamo', shone bright. After a full two-minute scrap against the Warlock 'Soul_e', he managed to snatch the lead. However, the tide turned back to equilibrium when the Gunslinger 'Amy' failed to defeat the Swordmaster 'NaHyanggi' in the second bout.

It all boiled down to the 2vs2 to decide the quarterfinalists, and the teams leaned into polar opposite strategies. The 'Pugilist/Gunslinger' duo had to force the pace and hunt for an opening, while the 'Swordmaster/Warlock' pairing played the long game, absorbing pressure and slowly chipping away at their opponents' health. The latter proved the smarter path, securing a ticket to the quarterfinals for the 'ListenToUsers' team.

The clash between 'FruitSeller' and 'WhetherItMelts' was another match that grabbed everyone's attention. It was a 'Chi Master vs. Throwing Knife Artist' standoff, leading to a fierce long-range battle. However, the Throwing Knife Artist is currently at the peak of the meta, and the wall was too high for the Chi Master to climb. 'WhetherItMelts' easily took both 1vs1 sets and showed a massive difference in firepower during the 2vs2, confirming their spot in the quarterfinals.

Rounding off the 16 was a tense 1:1 stalemate between 'AresCream' and 'Deh-et' that had viewers gasping. With both sides running the balanced 'Throwing Knife Artist/Swordmaster' setup, the final 2vs2 was a masterclass in tactical back-and-forth.

With 15 seconds left on the clock and health bars looking nearly identical, the 'Deh-et' team's Throwing Knife Artist, 'Dictator', made a bold move. He pressured the full-health 'Wizle' with 'Ghost Shadow' and successfully soaked up the counter-attacks while maintaining his own sustain. When the timer hit zero, 'Deh-et' stood tall with more remaining health, clinching a 2:1 victory.

The quarterfinals kick off today, February 4th, at 7:00 PM, starting with the match between 'HotDeal' and 'HotCoffeeOneShot'. All four quarterfinalist teams will be in action, sticking to the same best-of-three format. Every match will be streamed live on the official B&S Revolution YouTube channel.
