Actoz Soft rolled out the V7.4 'A Paradise in the Mist' update for their PC MMORPG 'Final Fantasy XIV' on the 3rd. This patch packs a punch with a fresh scenario, alongside a suite of new dungeons and trials. The company also confirmed they are gunning for full patch synchronization between the Korean and global servers by the first half of 2026 via the V7.5 update.

This V7.4 update kicks off a new scenario where adventurers defy the world's logic in search of a utopia. Combat enthusiasts have plenty to chew on, including the 'Mist Journey' instance dungeon, the 'Arcadion: Heavyweight' raid, and the 'Glacia Labolas' trial. If you prefer a bit of competitive spice, the new 'Woko Chite (Practice Match)' battlefield is now live. Beyond the skirmishes, look forward to new emotes, mounts, minions, fashion accessories, and housing items. Further down the road, expect the 'Merchant's Tale' variant dungeon, the Crescent Island update, and the new cosmic frontier 'Oegis' to drop in sequence.

Systemic quality-of-life tweaks are also here. The team has loosened the restrictions on the glamour system, giving you more freedom to curate your look. New additions like the 'Strategy Board' and 'Quick Menu' aim to streamline raid coordination and HUD navigation. During the 48th 'Letter from the Producer Live' broadcast, Actoz Soft reiterated their goal of aligning the Korean server with the global version by mid-2026. They are using this V7.4 patch as a springboard to get both newcomers and returning players ready for the big shift with a host of events.
