The journey for the 'Summoners War Korea vs. Japan Super Match 2026', set to take place in Japan, is officially underway.

Com2uS announced on the 6th that the online qualifiers for the Summoners War Korea vs. Japan Super Match 2026 will be held over two days, February 7th and 8th. This event serves as an official showdown where Summoners from South Korea and Japan put their skills to the test in Summoners War: Sky Arena.

Those who survive the qualifiers will earn a ticket to the offline finals, scheduled for March 14th in Osaka, Japan. Participants were selected based on their 'World Arena Season 35' rankings, with the top 12 players from each country entering the fray. The qualifiers kick off at 2 PM on February 7th for Korea and February 8th for Japan, with both days broadcast live on the official Summoners War YouTube channels in their respective languages.

The structure is simple: players are split into upper and lower seeds based on their World Arena standings. The bottom eight will clash in a single-elimination round, before the top four join the fray in the second round. From there, it switches to a double-elimination format, offering a second chance for players who stumble along the way.

The Korean roster is stacked with talent, including last year’s MVP KUROMI!, SWC champion BEATD, and the seasoned IROHA. Meanwhile, Team Japan is bringing out their heavy hitters like KAMECHAN and MATSU, alongside OSADASAN, OSSERU, and BLUEWHALE10, all fighting for their spot on the final squad.

Furthermore, two players have already secured their seats in the finals based on their stellar SWC2025 performances. SCHOLES from Korea, who made it to the SWC2025 Asia-Pacific Cup, and TAKUZO10 from Japan, who reached the World Finals, have both earned their place on their respective national teams.
