Goddess of Victory: NIKKE x Lycoris Recoil collaboration PV is officially live. You can watch it on the official YouTube channel or the 'In-game Event' board on the lounge. It showcases the designs and signature weaponry of Chisato Nishikigi, Takina Inoue, and Kurumi. Chisato and Takina join as limited-time SSR units, while Kurumi is available as an SR welfare character. On February 4th, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE made its debut appearance at the Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan. It was quite a spectacle, featuring snow sculptures of Cinderella and Little Mermaid, accompanied by costumed performers and mascots.

The event wasn't just for show; fans enjoyed exclusive character voice lines, photo ops, and interactive sessions. Is there any alternative to Cinderella?

Since her debut, the 2.5th Anniversary Pilgrim 'Cinderella'—affectionately dubbed 'Seiren' by the player base—has reigned supreme as the undisputed Tier 0 Burst 1 unit. Her performance is so absurdly overtuned that she’s effectively kicked every other Burst 1 unit off the throne. Being a Pilgrim, the drop rates are notoriously stingy, and while you can try your luck with 'Molds' from the Pilgrim & Over-spec Tower, there are no guarantees.New Commanders will inevitably find her a tough nut to crack.

One user in the official lounge, going by 'Dodohan Troll 2775', posed the question: 'Everyone tells me to use Cinderella, but I don't have her. Aside from Liter and Red Hood, I’m struggling to find a decent Burst 1 unit. Any suggestions?' The community chimed in with advice. To be blunt, there is no perfect 1:1 replacement for Cinderella. Currently, Liter, Red Hood, D: Killer Wife, and Rouge are the closest you’ll get in terms of utility. Units with 'Burst Skill Cooldown Reduction' are your best bet to mimic a fraction of her power.

Alternatively, you could try using 'Rapi: Red Hood' as a Burst 1. This unit can trigger a Burst 1 skill if there are no other Burst 1 units in your squad. In short, if you’re missing Cinderella, slot in a cooldown reduction unit—just don't expect the same level of dominance.

Cocoa: The Maid Who Dreams of Espionage

Today, we’re looking at Cocoa, the youngest member of the Maid for You squad who insists on playing the role of head maid. While she technically outranks Ade and loves to boss her around, she still has a childish streak—like using crayons to draw. She harbors a secret dream of becoming a top-tier spy, much like the icons from the Kingsman or 007 series. Her latest infatuation with Velvet in the story event makes perfect sense when you look at it through that lens.

Cocoa is an early-game release, so her skills are simple and effective. Her Skill 1, 'Pro Origami,' operates on a 15-second cooldown, healing all ally cover and removing one debuff from two random allies.

Her Skill 2, 'Pro Ketchup,' is a passive that grants a buff upon fully charged attacks. It stacks up to 15 times and lasts 5 seconds, reducing incoming damage per stack. At level 10, it hits 4.37% per stack, capping at 65.55%. Her Burst, 'Pro Head Maid,' removes one debuff from all allies and, if she has 15 stacks of Pro Ketchup, slaps an attack reduction debuff on all enemies. At skill level 10, that attack reduction is 13.59% for 10 seconds.

She saw a brief moment in the spotlight as a debuff cleanser for bosses like 'Chatterbox' and 'Ultra' back in the day. However, that was short-lived. As more powerful units arrived and players mastered the mechanics, her necessity faded. Until she receives her Treasure upgrade, she’s likely staying on the bench.

Cocoa was the one who trained Velvet in the art of maid service during the FATAL MAID story event. We didn't see the training itself, but Velvet seems to have picked up the trade well. Interestingly, Velvet returns the favor by teaching Cocoa the ways of a secret agent, effectively flipping their senior-junior dynamic. By the end of the event, Cocoa calls in some heavy hitters to deal with a troublesome customer—a list that includes wrestling champions and tax officials. A colorful bunch, indeed.
