Line Games announced that it has updated its mobile SRPG, The War of Genesis Mobile, developed by Meerkat Games, with the addition of a new character, 'Iolin of Atonement', and the 'Rhapsody of the West Wind' storyline on the 10th.

The new character, Iolin of Atonement, is an alternate version of Iolin Pendragon, the heroine from The War of Genesis 2. In battle, she utilizes her ultimate skill, 'Snow Flower Trace', which deals AoE frost damage and applies a slow effect. Equipping her signature weapon, 'Final Oath', allows players to unlock her full potential.

This update also introduces Chapter 2 of the 'Rhapsody of the West Wind' side story. Stat buffs have been applied to the existing character, Phantom Thief Scharnhorst, and the world boss raid content, 'Error Code: Diene', has entered its 27th season.

Line Games will host player benefit events until the maintenance on the 24th. The monster subjugation event offers various rewards, including 100 character summon tickets, legendary armor, and gold rune boxes. Additionally, the Lunar New Year special attendance challenge allows players to earn the 'Iolin of Atonement' skin, refining materials, and various tickets through daily logins.

Furthermore, completing growth missions after obtaining Iolin of Atonement will reward players with an SD profile, rank-up and promotion materials, and Raznite. A pick-up event for Phantom Thief Scharnhorst and Jane Shore is also underway, providing 'Memory Fragments' necessary for character growth upon summoning these characters.
