It seems the slight instability of 'Scarlet' has had an impact, and 'Leona', one of the catalysts for that shift, has seen her Top 8 pick rate climb accordingly.

Here is the status of the Champion Arena Season 22 Top 8 Nikke pick rates. Every single ranker who reached the Top 8 utilized 'Innocent Days'. Conversely, 'Scarlet' was fielded by only 7 out of 8 players. It might be a margin of just one, but that perfect 100% record is shattered. It seems the fear of running into 'Leona'—a one-in-five chance—has made players quite jittery.

The number of rankers opting for 'Leona' has increased compared to last season, rising from 50% to 62.5%. With 5 out of 8 players deploying her, it is clearly a tactical move to suppress 'Scarlet'. Additionally, 'Cinderella' saw a slight dip in pick rate this time; we’ll have to wait and see if she holds steady or makes a comeback.

Let’s take a look at the squad of 小贱人, the winner of the Champion Arena group. Their record from the Top 8 to the finals was a rollercoaster of 'W-L-W-W-L - W-L-W-W-L - W-L-L-W-W'. Only two squads managed a clean sweep, and in this case, the battles were far from one-sided, often dragging into the fourth round. The winning squad combinations were 'Mast - Noah - Liberalio - Treasure Helm - Little Mermaid' and 'Blanc - Biscuit - Innocent Days - Rumani - Cinderella'.

小贱人 was the only Top 8 contender to utilize 'Little Mermaid' (hereinafter 'Seiren'). Beyond her PvE prowess, Seiren is a force in PvP thanks to her stun, bonus damage, and burst generation. While officially a Burst 1 Supporter, she functions more like a hybrid buffer and sub-dealer. Don’t be fooled by the second squad’s shotgun deck failure—it’s far from a weak setup, so tread carefully.

Will New Treasures Shift the Meta?

On February 12, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE rolled out a massive update alongside the 'Lycoris Recoil' collaboration and new main scenarios. As teased in January, four new Treasures were added. Users have immediately begun evaluating the performance of 'Privaty', 'Cent', 'Zwei', and 'Mast' now that they have their gear.

Currently, Privaty and Mast are receiving the most praise, with the grapevine suggesting Privaty holds the edge. However, Privaty requires reaching Stage 3 to shine, and Mast needs more testing in PvE environments, so stay tuned for more updates. Cent and Zwei have been met with a more lukewarm reception. It will be interesting to see if Mast and Cent, who are already active in the Arena, shake up the meta further.

Solo Raid Museum Boss Addition

The 'Solo Raid Museum', where players can revisit past raids, has added three new bosses: the Electric-weak 'Alteisen', the Wind-weak 'Modernia', and the Fire-weak 'Storm Bringer'. Clearing these challenge stages rewards a massive amount of items for Nikke Collectibles and Treasures. Since four new pieces of gear just dropped, this is the perfect time to buff those Nikkes you haven't had the chance to nurture yet.
