The domestic indie dev team Sonak has announced that their story-driven escape game, 'Forgotten Library', is set for an official release on Stove Indie this coming February 25th.

'Forgotten Library' tasks players with diving into mystical episodes within a library to recover vanishing tales. As a world built of stories crumbles, you take on the roles of various protagonists to solve puzzles and stitch the narrative back together. Expect a diverse range of characters and fantasy realms, with each protagonist navigating their own distinct genre of storytelling.

When it originally hit mobile, 'Forgotten Library' managed to snag the 19th spot in the App Store puzzle category and was crowned 'Indie Game of the Month' on One Store. It also saw impressive support through two separate Tumblbug crowdfunding campaigns, hitting 223% and 232% of their goals respectively. This new PC version features significantly overhauled graphics and includes a total of 14 expansive stories, including the final episode, '219. Underwater Palace'.

The team at Sonak has been busy, appearing at G-STAR for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024, getting selected for Indie Craft 2024, and hitting the floor at the 2025 Comic World and Cheonan K-Culture Festival to connect with fans. With a core squad of nine experts covering planning, art, and development, Sonak excels at blending emotional illustrations with deep narratives to turn a standard escape room into a genuine 'story-collecting' experience.

Sonak is using this Stove Indie launch as a springboard for global expansion. They are currently working on English and Chinese localisations, eyeing a Steam release by the second half of 2026. A demo for Steam users is planned for the first half of the year, alongside a steady stream of developer diaries and character backstories on the Steam community hub to keep the global audience engaged.
