Tripwire Presents, the publishing arm of Tripwire Interactive, and developer Arctic Hazard are set to launch their turn-based tactical title, NORSE: Oath of Blood, on February 17. Set during the dark Viking age of Norway, the game will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.

NORSE: Oath of Blood is a turn-based tactical affair steeped in Viking-era Norway. You step into the boots of Gunnar, a young warrior embarking on a quest for vengeance and honour. After the traitor Steinarr Far-Spear murders his father, Jarl Gripr, and usurps the throne, it falls upon Gunnar to rebuild his settlement, rally allies, and reclaim justice.

The game tasks you with building your settlement from the ground up, venturing to distant lands to forge alliances, and training a formidable warband. Every choice ripples through the world; you will need to contend with rival clans, forge unbreakable bonds, and outwit your foes in tactical turn-based combat within an environment fraught with danger and opportunity.

With the February 17 launch fast approaching, digital pre-orders for NORSE: Oath of Blood are now live on Windows PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG. The standard edition is priced at $34.99 (approx. 47,870 KRW), while the special edition—which includes the in-game Kiev War Armor set and the Ulfberht sword—retails for $44.99 (approx. 61,550 KRW). Pre-purchasing on PC grants a 15% discount and includes the exclusive 'Brokkr's Bearded Axe' to help you turn the tide of battle.

For those seeking the right atmosphere, the latest single 'LEGACY' by dark neo-folk band Galdorcræft is featured in the game.
