Nexon announced on the 12th that it will implement a Lunar New Year update for 'Mabinogi Mobile', an MMORPG developed by its subsidiary, devCAT.

Starting at 6:00 AM on the 16th, the 'Tabartas' raid will open its 'Very Hard' difficulty. The update includes new boss buffs, skill changes, and adjustments to key attack patterns.

A 'Cross-server party matching' system is also being introduced, allowing players to form parties with users from other servers to challenge dungeons. Additionally, for two weeks, players can earn gold, gem prisms, and rune shards through daily loot dungeons: 'Grave Robber's Hidden Stash', 'Raider's Wagon Vault', 'Demon's Secret Altar', and 'Abandoned Rune Ruins'.

A 'Relationship System' is also being added to strengthen bonds between users. Players can define their relationships with friends, which unlocks exclusive effects and features like teleportation. Furthermore, new two-player social actions such as 'Princess Carry' and 'Couple Dance' have been added.

Running until March 5th, the 'I want to eat Jaruper, meow' event allows players to exchange event currency for items such as the 'Calm Morning Hanbok Set', Lunar New Year-themed actions (Lucky Bag, Top Spinning, Kite Flying), and 8-star rune fragments for weapons and accessories.

Additionally, until 5:59 AM on March 12th, players can help NPC Caitin with daily check-ins and gathering activities to craft chocolate or cookie gift sets, which can be exchanged for event gifts at the NPC shop.

Furthermore, a Nexon Play mission event will run until the 25th, providing play points to new and returning users based on mission completion. A returnee attendance event will also be active until 5:59 AM on March 5th, offering rewards such as star prisms, reinforcement catalysts, and gem skill crafters.
