During the Sony State of Play held on the 13th, ProbablyMonsters unveiled its new action RPG, 'Crimson Moon'. The game is set in a dark, gothic world where angels, demons, and ancient gods coexist, and players take on the role of a Nephilim tasked with reclaiming the cursed city of Gildenarch.

Humanity was once on the brink of extinction due to the Infernal Legion, but the Nephilim—born from the forbidden union of human and angel—rallied humanity to defeat the forces of darkness. Now, players are summoned back to the tainted city of Gildenarch to fight against the undead, vampires, and monsters of the Infernal Legion. You will clear out districts, defeat the Legion's 'Hellgrowth', and prepare for a final showdown with the wicked vampire lord Solomon Moore, who orchestrated the destruction of Gildenarch.

Crimson Moon features various combat elements such as parrying, finishers, angelic abilities, and transformations. The game is characterized by high risk and high reward, offering the thrill of danger and discovery within an ever-evolving difficulty system. Rewarding skill and technique, the game encourages replayability as you fight through waves of enemies to reclaim the city.

Players can prepare builds at the war table in their base, Sanctus Clypeus, craft new weapons and armor at the forge, and plan their invasion of Gildenarch. As the war escalates and the story unfolds, new quests and threats appear at the war table in response to the Infernal Legion's advance.

Players can engage in combat alone or team up with friends to complete missions. Co-op play features dynamic difficulty scaling and changing enemy compositions, ensuring that every mission feels like a fresh and personal experience.

Crimson Moon is scheduled to launch on PS5 and Steam later this year.
