Crafting and collections are undeniably the lifeblood of Raven 2. The developers are constantly pushing updates and linking them to events, making it a never-ending cycle. In this edition, we’ve sifted through the list of 'Proof of Subjugation' crafting recipes to highlight the essentials you might be missing. Trust me, you'll want to take note of these for boosting your class collection stats and smoothing over those pesky NPC affinity grinds.

Q. You mentioned there are essentials to craft with Proof of Subjugation?
A. Focus on the Rare Class and Familiar summoning scrolls.

In Raven 2, Rift Bosses spawn every day at 12:30 and 20:30. Participating in these scraps nets you various rewards, most notably the 'Proof of Subjugation'. You can spend these in the 'Crafting - Event - Proof of Subjugation' menu to whip up everything from Top-Grade 11x Summon Selection Chests to rare gear materials, Abyss resistance potions, and various buffs.

The items most players overlook are the Rare grade '[Brave Guard] Class 1x Summon Scroll' and '[Velarion] Familiar 1x Summon Scroll'. They cost 3,750 Proof of Subjugation each and are limited to one per server. The real kicker? These are exclusive to this currency, and you’ll need to craft them at least once to claim the collection rewards. Keep hitting those Rift Bosses and prioritize these first.

Also, keep an eye on the Hero-grade Class/Familiar 1x Summon Scrolls, which are also limited to one per server. Deciding which one to craft first depends entirely on your existing Rare collection rewards. If the stat bonuses don't tickle your fancy, aim to 'graduate' your Hero-grade collection instead. If you get a duplicate, just break it down for shards to use in upgrades or contract summons.

Q. Any other crafting recipes we should watch out for?
A. Don't sleep on the Rare Gear Material Chests.

A while back, we covered NPC affinity management in our Raven 2 Tips. The most cost-effective strategy is to consistently feed them basic materials like cloth and leather over the long haul. However, if you're feeling impatient and want to unlock specific items quickly, add the 'Rare Gear Material Chest' to your crafting queue. You can make one per day for 100 Proof of Subjugation. It yields one rare crafting material—seems small, but compared to hours of dungeon farming, it’s a steal. Naturally, it’s also a solid choice if you're purely focused on gear progression.

If you're still rocking Rare or Hero gear, try to craft the Rare Gear Design Piece whenever possible. It's a weekly craft costing 50 Proof of Subjugation. In Raven 2, you can eventually trade one finished Rare Gear Design for 20 Hero Design Pieces. It’s a slow burn, but every little bit helps.

Additionally, depending on your server's population and your device's performance, participating in Rift Boss events can be a proper headache. If the screen stutters or the boss vanishes before you can blink, use a Blessed Teleport Scroll. Mark the spawn area and pop it immediately when the boss appears or falls. These are usually bought with Crystals, but once you get the General Goods NPC to 'Intimate' status, they become available in their shop. Invest a little time and build that rapport.

Q. Any other clever uses for the Lunar New Year Hero Class crafting recipe?
A. It’s a prime opportunity to snag your preferred Class.

The Lunar New Year season in Raven 2 is wrapping up this week. We’ve shared plenty of KookminTree tips regarding the event. If you can't scrape together 4,000 Threads of Dawn for the El’s Summon Selection Chest, we suggested crafting the Hero Class Summon Scroll to fill out your codex or take a shot at a Legendary Class contract. But I realised I missed one vital tip: re-summoning for a fresh Hero Class.

When you pull a Hero-grade or higher Class or Familiar, you get a grace period on the confirmation screen. You can spend a set amount of Crystals to re-summon an item of the same grade. Don't forget that you can set a 'pickup' target to boost your odds. Use the same logic for the Hero Class Summon Scroll. If your collection is still missing plenty of Hero Classes, re-summoning is a viable strategy to chase those completion bonuses. Just be mindful that if you already own a vast collection, the odds of pulling a duplicate remain a cheeky little risk.
