On the 26th, 'Blade & Soul Revolution' launched the Raising Fantasy Baekmong event, alongside a fresh field boss for the Bloody Wind zones. It is a chance to grab some generous rewards while enjoying the new content. Additionally, the update pushes the character growth ceiling higher with the introduction of new Radiant Ancient grade Soul Shield sets and five new Ancient Guardian Spirit Blessings.

Raising Fantasy Baekmong is a new virtual pet mini-game in Blade & Soul Revolution. You choose between beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels to oversee your Baekmong's development. Naturally, the higher the tier, the longer the grind, but you get to see more variety in your creature and snag better loot. The top-tier prize for the advanced path is a 'Mythic Equipment Blueprint Selection Box (Attack/Defense)' along with the 'Supreme Fantasy Baekmong Gift Box,' which includes an Ancient grade weapon skin, a title, and a hat design.

Once you have locked in your Baekmong’s difficulty level, you can start feeding it by completing daily missions to boost its EXP. Missions include finishing 5 daily tasks, spending 20 minutes in the Training Ground, taking down 30 faction monsters, or burning through 50 combat condition points. Note that this is a one-time-per-account deal, and once you start, you cannot change your difficulty selection. The event runs from the February 26th update until further notice.

The new Bloody Wind zone event bosses appear in the 'Bloody Wind Hilly Lands' and 'Bloody Wind Plateau' as neutral entities. Defeating them drops 'Faction Spirit Stones' exclusive to your faction. By interacting with the objects, you can secure essential growth items, such as the '100% Ancient Damage Restoration Coupon.' These bosses spawn four times a day, and you can track the exact timings via the in-game field boss menu.

Don't overlook the 'Event Boss Rush' either, which follows a similar logic. Four times daily, you can enter the 'Star Horn Dragon's Nest' via the event icon. Take down the 'Twisted Star Horn Dragon' to earn contribution points, which lead to rewards like 'Mythic Weapon Blueprints.' Plus, once the boss is defeated, you can participate in the silver coin auction for a shot at items like the 'Ancient Martial Arts Plate.'

On the character progression front, the new 'Radiant Cheonjinkwon Soul Shield' set has arrived. Its primary appeal is a boost to monster damage, and it packs a significant punch in ignore-defense damage, making it a solid choice for dungeon runs. You can hunt these down in the aforementioned boss rush auctions, or find them in Legendary/Ancient difficulty dungeons and raids.

Rounding out the update are five new Ancient Guardian Spirit Blessings: 'Dark Wind Warlock Gamma-deung,' 'Assassin Ghost Ganmyowol,' 'Mysterious Iorak,' 'Sub-Admiral Eungwangsul,' and 'Admiral Eungwangil.' These exist strictly at the Ancient grade—no lower-tier filler here—and can be acquired via Ancient promotion, same-type changes, or cross-type changes. They offer the highest stat bonuses currently available to help you push your character to the limit.
