Back in late February, V4 celebrated its half-year anniversary with a developer livestream, teasing a new class, Akasha, fresh regions, and substantial updates. Naturally, everyone’s ears perked up at the mention of a global server. The team finally spilled the beans during their March 4th broadcast. Is it worth starting fresh or jumping in for the first time? We’ve sifted through the details so you don’t have to.

Three distinct server regions operating from March 11

Let’s get the server structure sorted. On March 11, V4 officially launches in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau (T/HK/MO). From that point, we’ll see three distinct operating environments: the existing Korean region, the new global server, and the dedicated T/HK/MO servers. Think of it this way: Korean and T/HK/MO players can both access the global server, while the Korean and T/HK/MO regions remain exclusive bubbles. Essentially, Korean players have the run of both the Korean region and the global server.

We’re looking at six servers for the global launch and four for T/HK/MO, with expansion on the cards if demand spikes. The marketplace is unified by server group—six servers share one, and the four T/HK/MO servers share another. Language support includes Korean, Traditional Chinese, and English.

V4 is also banking on influencer power, confirming that several popular streamers will be joining the fray on the global and T/HK/MO servers to keep things lively. They announced 17 streamers initially, with more expected to join the party.

Launch perks for the global server fresh start

If you’re keen on playing alongside international folks, the global server is your new home. To sweeten the deal, there’s a pre-registration incentive. While currently targeted at T/HK/MO users, those who sign up get a package worth 149,000 KRW, including a Hero-grade mount to kickstart your progression. And for the Korean players wondering where their cut is? Don’t fret—you’re already considered pre-registered and will snag the same loot when you log into the global server.

Expect a suite of events right at launch, including a 20% experience and gold boost to accelerate your early game. The signature 'Hero’s Vow' event is also making a return, albeit tweaked for a slightly smoother difficulty curve based on Korean data. Over eight weeks, you can grind through missions to nab a full set of Hero-grade appearances, mounts, and weaponry.

There’s also a separate six-week 'Hero’s Vow' track—a two-pronged approach to progression. By tackling extra missions, you can snag additional Hero-grade mounts and armour. With double daily quest rewards and ranking events, the devs are tossing out plenty of goodies like Trinity and enhancement scrolls. Their advice? Jump in early to maximise these launch-window benefits.

Updates and the road ahead

The global server’s March 11 debut coincides with the arrival of Akasha, the game’s first new class. You’ll have all five classes available right out of the gate, which should make for a fascinating shift in the meta and ranking distributions compared to what we’ve seen in Korea. A crucial heads-up: nicknames are unique across the entire ecosystem—Korea, Global, and T/HK/MO. Since Korean players already had their reservation window, they aren't part of this specific event.

V4’s global server goes live on March 11 at 12:00 PM. The inter-server battlefield, Gehenna, opens simultaneously, with the first skirmish slated for April. The roadmap also hints at class change tickets, server transfers, and new content like the Mausoleum and Tower of Infinity. Details are thin for now, but we’ll be keeping a close watch for more.
