It is time for the Dungeon Race, where we dissect the ranking dungeon logs for 'Blade & Soul Revolution'. March has been a whirlwind, perfectly timed with server transfers and the closing and opening of our dungeon cycles. By the time the March 3rd deadline hit, many teams were already champing at the bit to dive into the dungeons. While most of our migrating rankers seemed occupied with settling into their new homes, a few ambitious squads were already establishing dominance. Let's take a look at the details, alongside the class-specific top 3 charts.

The Soul Fighter duo 'Nevada·Rangdon-jjigae' kicks things off in the 11-second range!

Whenever a season wraps up and the boards reset, there is always that one team keen to stamp their authority early. Usually, they start a second or two off their previous best, but this time? The pace is frankly absurd. The 'Nevada·Rangdon-jjigae' team, who clocked in at 12.702 seconds back in February, has absolutely obliterated their own record with an 11.859s run. Compare that to the previous champions, 'Bbakguya-nolja·LupinOl', whose best was 11.593s—that is a mere 0.266s difference. It seems they are chasing history right out of the gate.

Just a heads up: the server transfers have caused a mass exodus of names and homes. Our leaders, 'Nevada·Rangdon-jjigae', have relocated from 'Jeongwang-sokhwa' to 'Gun-gye-ilhak'. It is also highly likely that 'Rangdon-jjigae' is just a rebrand of the old 'Rangdon-boncae' character, given the duo’s matching classes and similar naming conventions.

However, the status of the 'Gunner·Soul Fighter' squad that set the February record remains a bit of a mystery. While 'Bbakguya-nolja' is still holding steady in 'Daegi-manseong', their partner 'LupinOl' has gone off the grid. Our best guess? They are hiding in plain sight as 'Ryupang' on the 'Gyeongguk-jisaek' server, busy syncing up with new teammates. Whether this duo can reclaim their former glory this March remains to be seen—it is going to be a fascinating race.

'Twin Blade·Gunner' duo dominates half the class share

The first March dungeon race report is based on 411 recorded entries. That is 37 more than the first week of February, which is quite impressive considering the massive disruption caused by the recent server migrations. One can only wonder how many will join the fray by the final tally.

Despite the influx of participants, the popularity trends remain stubbornly consistent. The Twin Blade and Gunner classes are, as usual, fighting tooth and nail for the top spot, together accounting for over 50% of the chart. And yet, the top-tier records are still being dominated by Soul Fighters. They remain the darling of the hardcore dungeon crowd, holding onto a steady 10% share and securing 3rd place once again. Their PvE performance remains, quite frankly, difficult to ignore.

'Ghost Blade·Miho Blade' report mixed attendance

The Ghost Blade, which was notably absent last month, has finally flickered back to life. 'Shori-force' from the Daegi-manseong server managed a 1:21.278 run, just scraping into the rankings. While the 2nd and 3rd spots remain empty, their mere presence is a relief. Conversely, the Miho Blade has gone totally dark. After a shaky, inconsistent performance last month, they have vanished from the race entirely this March.

Meanwhile, the 'Kung Fu Master' and 'Musician' classes are also missing a player each. Given this is only the first week, such gaps are expected. As we have mentioned before, Blade & Soul Revolution has balance adjustments on the horizon for March, which means players will soon have access to the 'Free Class Change' ticket. Expect the charts to be turned upside down once that drops. Here is hoping for a more balanced spread across all classes next time.
