H2 Interactive has officially launched the physical PS5 version of 'John Carpenter's Toxic Commando' in Korea today, March 12. Developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment and Plaion, the game is available for 44,800 KRW.

Set in a near-future Earth, 'John Carpenter's Toxic Commando' is a 4-player co-op FPS that kicks off when a reckless experiment to tap into the planet's core goes spectacularly wrong. The resulting 'Sludge God' has turned the world into a cesspit of undead abominations. You and your squad of mercenaries—the eponymous Toxic Commando—are tasked with dragging these horrors back to the underworld.

The game leans heavily into 4-player online co-op. Teamwork is essential here; you will need to revive fallen mates, share precious ammo, and cover each other's backs to survive. Thanks to the 'Swarm Engine'—the same tech powering 'World War Z' and 'Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2'—you can expect thousands of infected to flood the screen simultaneously.

You can also traverse the semi-open world maps in a variety of vehicles. From tanks bristling with heavy firepower to utility vehicles equipped with winches, there is plenty of kit to help you smash through zombie hordes. You can customize your experience by choosing different classes and upgrading your arsenal, which ranges from firearms and explosives to the classic katana.

The physical edition includes the base game disc and the 'Leon's Secret Stash DLC'. This bonus bundle nets you one skin per character, the ACW-20 assault rifle, a wakizashi melee weapon, and exclusive player profiles and titles. Keep in mind, you will need to download the DLC via an in-game patch.
