Naddic Games announced on the 1st that its upcoming mobile RPG, 'Byeolbyeol Hero'—developed by Box Games and set to be published by the former—has officially surpassed 200,000 pre-registrations.

'Byeolbyeol Hero' is a collection-based RPG boasting high-quality 3D graphics that span a vast worldview, stretching from primitive times to the modern era, across both Eastern and Western themes. The core gameplay revolves around large-scale unit battles where you deploy 5 heroes and 20 soldiers onto a 5x5 grid, leading up to 25 units into chaotic, screen-filling combat.

To save you from the usual grind, they have introduced a slot-based level-sharing system. Essentially, you only need to focus on levelling up your 5 primary heroes, and every other hero in your collection inherits that level. It is a clever touch that adds strategic flexibility, allowing you to swap in new recruits without needing to spend an age catching them up.

The developers have also crammed in a fair bit of variety. You have got 'World Bosses' for server-wide competition, 'Great Voyage' to test your tactical limits, and 'Boss Subjugation' for your daily fix of loot. Beyond the fighting, there are rotating weekly mini-games like fishing, treasure hunting, and ice breaking, which aim to keep things fresh beyond the battlefield.

To celebrate hitting the 200,000 pre-registration milestone, Naddic is handing out a bundle worth roughly 200,000 won. This includes gold, diamonds, experience scrolls, runes, timber for village building, and soldier selection packs. Every participant will also receive the SSS-rank Korean exclusive hero 'Gumiho', crafted specifically for the local market, and the legendary collaboration hero 'Middle-aged Knight Kim Bong-sik' from Maf Games. Keep an eye on 'Kim Bong-sik'—he has been transformed into a 3D model and, with his mix of comedy, tanking prowess, and area-of-effect attacks, looks like a solid choice for your early-game roster.
