Netmarble has opened the official Japanese teaser site for 'Shangri-La Frontier: Seven Best Species,' currently in development by Netmarble Nexus, and announced that the game is scheduled for release within this year.

The newly released video showcases in-game cutscenes and a battle against the monster 'Wezaemon the Tombguard.' The video is also available on the official Korean X account, and further details regarding the game will be shared in the future.

The company is also engaging in offline activities in Japan. Netmarble will participate in 'Anime Japan 2026,' held at Tokyo Big Sight from the 28th to the 29th. Through the Shangri-La Frontier production committee booth, Netmarble will screen the latest PV and host events for on-site visitors.

The original 'Shangri-La Frontier' is an IP based on a web novel that has surpassed 1 billion cumulative views. It follows a high school student who usually enjoys playing unpopular games as he embarks on an adventure in 'Shangri-La Frontier,' a title widely regarded as a top-tier game.
