HAEGIN announced on the 20th that in celebration of Play Together’s 5th anniversary, they are rolling out a massive festival alongside a complete overhaul of their school content, titled the 'School of Rock' update. Players can now dive into a revamped school environment and enjoy a festival experience where they can craft and share anniversary cakes.

The 5th-anniversary festival is set to run for four weeks at Kaia Island Plaza. Players can whip up commemorative cakes or hunt down missing cake decorations through special quests to soak in the festive vibes. Starting on the 21st, a cumulative attendance event kicks off, rewarding players who log in with limited-edition items like the 'Floating 5th Anniversary Balloon,' '5th Anniversary Cake Cart,' 'Cream-splattered Cake Hat,' and 'Sweet Cream Marks.'

The new 'School of Rock' event takes place within the school grounds. The narrative follows a lonely guitarist who meets the members of the band 'Star Beat'—Nabina, Uju, and Gangajin—and eventually takes to the festival stage. Through the 'Star Beat: The Beginning of a Legend' event, players can complete tiered missions to earn five types of Star Beat instruments and Music Coins. These coins can then be used to play the 'Play Me a Playlist' mini-game, where they can earn rewards like the 'Rock Band School Bus' stage vehicle.
