On the 30th, Com2uS announced that it is developing a new game based on the popular Japanese anime 'I Quit Being an A-Rank Party Member, and I'll Aim for the Deepest Part of the Dungeon with My Former Disciples' (hereinafter 'A-Rank Party'). Com2uS has signed a licensing agreement with the IP holder, Kodansha, to handle both the development and global publishing of the game.

The news was revealed on the 29th at 'Anime Japan 2026' in Tokyo. Voice actors from the anime appeared on the main stage at the Com2uS booth, and a one-minute teaser video was showcased on a large screen, drawing significant attention from attendees. The teaser featured the protagonists Yuke, Rain, and Marina, hinting at a new adventure within the game.

'A-Rank Party' is based on a light novel series that has surpassed 1.8 million copies in cumulative sales. It depicts an adventure fantasy story where Yuke, a Red Mage who leaves his top-tier party, aims to challenge the depths of a dungeon with his former disciples. With the second season of the TV anime currently in production, the IP is expanding its global fandom. Com2uS plans to leverage the core appeal and unique gameplay of this IP to provide an immersive gaming experience.

Meanwhile, at 'Anime Japan 2026', Com2uS also showcased other upcoming titles such as 'Tougen Anki: Crimson Inferno' and 'Gachiakuta: The Game (working title).' The event featured stage programs, demos, and interactive activities to engage with fans. Com2uS intends to strengthen its global market presence by sequentially releasing its lineup of anime-based games currently in development.
