The developers have teased plans to buff Hero-grade buffs that players have largely been ignoring, in what they claim will improve build variety. Furthermore, the Chaos Coin shop is set to stock new items, including a method to acquire Weapon Resonance—a stat-booster for your attack power. Expect the new season to shake things up quite a bit.

Shall we get into the meat of it? Let’s look at the final tally for Season 10 of the Tower of Chaos. The most striking figure here is the recruitment pool. When we checked in mid-season on March 10, we had 3,627 rankers. By the final count, that number sat at 3,628—a solitary increase of one. I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like it, but it does allow us to compare ranker growth and share shifts with clinical precision. A quick spoiler: it’s been a tale of two fates for the Elementalist and the Assassin.

Looking at the overall Top 20 chart, the reduction in clear times is palpable. While the mid-season high was set by 'ROYALbaedro' at 45 floors in 7 seconds, 'NoShowHanIgeuri' and 'VCZotekHun' have shaved that down to 6 seconds. ROYALbaedro has slipped to 4th place, likely due to the recent server transfer. Between server merges and a recent round of class changes, movement in the charts is to be expected.

Let’s zoom in on the top-tier players. The joint-8th place duo, 'RaonsDoyeon-kku' and 'ROYALMungiAppa', have seen their fortunes diverge. The former shaved 2 seconds off their 13-second time to climb to 6th, while the latter held steady but slipped to 11th due to the sheer intensity of the competition. Previous 13th-place holders 'RaonFRED' and 'ROYALTongjangApryu' also slid down the ranks, with RaonFRED’s clear time actually increasing by a second. Much like ROYALbaedro, these two are refugees from the Nox World server merger, and it seems our consolidated server players are finding the current climate rather unforgiving.

Tower of Chaos Class-Based Top 5 Ranking

The aftershocks of Raven 2’s first server merger are clearly visible in the top 5 class rankings. Not only have times plummeted, but the names on the leaderboard have seen a massive turnover. It’s been a chaotic back half of the season, to say the least. Vanguard and Berserker remain the most consistent, with 'ROYALMungiAppa - RaonFRED' and 'JijonJail - HighJuro' holding their ground. Notably, ROYALMungiAppa and RaonFRED have defended their 1st and 2nd positions respectively.

The real headlines, however, belong to the Elementalist, Gunslinger, and Assassin. The Elementalist’s average Top 5 clear time dropped from 42.4 seconds to 31.6 seconds, with the high-end record tumbling from 25 to 19 seconds. The Gunslinger’s top record also dipped by a second, with three more rankers breaking the 10-second barrier. The Assassin, conversely, managed a personal best, but spots 2 through 5 suffered a sharp decline, and their overall market share is shrinking.

Tower of Chaos Ranker Class Distribution

As I noted, the recruitment pool for this Raven 2 season barely moved, which makes the shift in class distribution all the more revealing. While the top 5 classes kept their share, the battle for 6th through 9th place was fierce. The real story here is the clash between the Elementalist and the Assassin.

The Assassin was once the darling of the Raven 2 Tower of Chaos, boasting a massive following among the top-tier elite. However, since the 45th floor opened, they’ve lost their edge, allowing ranged classes to muscle their way up the charts. With the surge in Berserker rankers taking 3rd place in popularity, the Elementalist has finally overtaken the Assassin. The Elementalist now leads by a 0.4% margin, sitting just 0.3% ahead of the 6th-place Destroyer. It will be fascinating to see if the Elementalist can continue this momentum next season.
