Since the world groupings for each division mirror the previous round, we’ve used those brackets as our baseline. Generally speaking, groups 1 through 4 are looking a bit lopsided, while groups 5 and 6 are shaping up to be the real highlights.

Will Kerum World pull off an upset?

Lux and Kerum are locked in another matchup. To be blunt, the power balance is heavily tilted toward Lux. Their participation rate in the 42nd Ancient Citadel was immense, and the results spoke for themselves: Lux walked away with 7 out of the 8 championship trophies available across the two worlds. Kerum only managed to break that winning streak with L-Peace’s victory in the Battlefield of Life.

All eyes are on the bidding results from the Metus and Salus server guilds for Kerum. In the 42nd round, both servers sent two guilds into the fray—WING and ZENITH from Metus, and L-Peace and Mini-Teukgongdae from Salus. With Salus slotted into Group 1 and Metus in Group 2 for the 43rd Ancient Citadel, we are left wondering if these guilds will show up on the high-tier battlefields and, more importantly, whether they can pull off a win.

Mare World: Keep an eye on specific servers

The situation between Nox and Mare follows a similar narrative, with the scales tipping toward Nox. While they shared the same number of successful bidders (eight) as Kerum last time, their entry rate into the top-tier battlefields was slightly higher. For instance, Metus’s Ajungdang and Fides’s jjhd secured spots in the Primordial and Elemental battlefields, respectively. In Group 3, Honor’s Cal-Chulgeun and Cal-Toegeun both participated in the Battlefield of Life, with Cal-Toegeun taking the crown. Meanwhile, Morse server’s CAFE emerged victorious in the Battlefield of Vegetation within the same group.

Judging by the 42nd results, Groups 3 and 4 are heading in very different directions. The former is dominated by the Cal-Chulgeun and Cal-Toegeun duo, while the latter will likely see bidders from Fides, Metus, and Morse. Ultimately, it’s a case of Mare trying to hold their ground against the Nox juggernaut.

Vita vs. Solar: A game of nerves

They say you should look at the forest rather than the trees, but for the Vita and Solar worlds in Raven 2, you really need to focus on the trees. During the last Citadel, specific servers showed varying strengths depending on the group and the battlefield. For example, Solar dominated the Group 5 Battlefield of Life, while Vita claimed the Group 5 Battlefield of Vegetation and Group 6 Battlefield of Primordial. Consequently, the server matching results for the 43rd Ancient Citadel are going to be critical.

Looking at Group 5, it’s a clash between Vita (Salus, Honor, Fides) and Solar (Honor, Morse, Fides). We expect Honor’s Abdo and Absal, along with Salus’s Red Light and Blue Light, to make an appearance for Vita. Solar, on the other hand, will likely see the Raon-affiliated guilds stepping up.Group 6 sees a showdown between Vita (Metus, Morse, Dolor) and Solar (Dolor, Metus, Salus). It’s highly likely that Alpha and Beta will carry the banner for Vita, while 'Once a Veteran, Always a Veteran' will lead the charge for Solar.

PVP Ranking Status

Last week, Raven 2 saw a ranker hit 87 kills. The number of players with over 10 kills rose, and all of the top 8 managed to surpass 30 kills—a rare spark of vitality for the chart. This week, those numbers have dipped, yet the peak has climbed to 95 kills. The star of the show was Hayrang from the Hi guild on the Nox-Salus server. The server was previously dominated by the Romantic guild, but a few Hi members are pushing back. Hayrang absolutely demolished the runner-up, NoShowRomanticChef, who finished with a 10/0/1 record. Furthermore, the Top 20 chart is heavily populated by Nox World users, suggesting a fierce rivalry between the Gonggam, Promo-a-nim, and Yeong-yeong-i-deul alliances. It remains to be seen if this intensity will translate into the 43rd Ancient Citadel.
