The April Fool’s event, 'FOOL METAL PANIC!', kicked off on the first of the month. Following last year's Mecha Shifty, we now have Mecha-Me Shifty descending upon the Outpost. On March 28th and 29th, the 'Unbreakable Memories' NIKKE orchestra concert took place at Kwangwoon University’s Donghae Culture and Arts Center in Seoul. It was the second outing for the concert series, and it's fair to say the demand was fierce—first-day tickets were snapped up in a heartbeat. Fans who made it to the venue have been flooding BlaBla with their impressions ever since.

Many attendees were returnees from last year’s show, offering a balanced view of the high points and the areas for improvement. A highlight for many was the live dubbing session featuring the voice actors for 'Cinderella' and 'Grave', which brought some of the game's most poignant story moments to life. While it remains to be seen if they’ll drop an official YouTube recording like they did last year, those who missed out might want to keep a close eye on the channel.

Dating simulations—or 'dating sims' as they’re affectionately known—are the heart of the latest story event in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. The introduction of the new Nikke 'Arcana: Fortune Mate' and the new skin for 'Privaty' has been a hit with the community. The hard stage opened on April 2nd, wrapping up the epilogue.

However, once the epilogue dropped, the forums were quickly filled with commanders asking why their event completion rate was stuck or why their albums looked empty. The truth? You need to exhaust every single choice across all routes to tick every box. While the inventory items show you where to find them, the album is a bit more cryptic. Fortunately, the community has been crowdsourcing locations on the official lounge and BlaBla, so check those boards if you're looking to complete your collection.

Meet the rather cheeky 'Arcana: Fortune Mate'

Let's talk about Arcana: Fortune Mate. She’s turned up in a school uniform fitting the event's theme, and frankly, the community is obsessed. She’s already been nicknamed 'Shot-rcana'—a testament to her popularity.

Arcana is a Burst 2 Firepower-type shotgun Nikke, and she is packed with buffs for shotgun-centric teams. Her skill, 'Accumulating Photo Album', grants an attack buff to all shotgun-wielding allies based on the caster's attack and the number of 'Precious Memories' stacks, lasting for 15 seconds after Full Burst. Furthermore, if she receives the 'Happy Memory' buff, she gains 'Record of Youth', which boosts normal attack damage by up to 10% (stacking up to 3 times). These buffs are cleared once Full Burst ends.

Her skill 'Memories and Reminiscences' triggers effects based on attack frequency while in the 'Memories' state: reloading ammo at 2 hits, increasing pellet count and gaining 'Happy Memory' at 4 hits, and boosting attack power at 6 hits. At skill level 10, that’s 6 rounds reloaded and a 2.49% attack boost per stack. When her Burst skill is active, shotgun allies (excluding herself) see a boost in attack damage for 10 seconds.

Her Burst, 'Shining Memories', applies the 'Memories' effect to herself—boosting critical hit rate, reloading ammo, and increasing attack damage. It also deals damage to all enemies based on her final attack power. As noted, the 'Memories' effect automatically drops after Full Burst, so don't be fooled by the 'duration' label in the tooltip; this isn't a permanent buff.

Arcana: Fortune Mate is effectively here to take the baton from 'Brid: Silent Track' as a shotgun support piece. While she lacks healing, her offensive utility for shotgun teams is undeniable. Her personal damage output is comparable to a fully invested 'Drake' with her treasure, as proven during her stellar performance in the recent Solo Raid. The best part? She’s not limited, so you can look forward to picking her up via the standard recruitment wishlist later.

The reason behind Arcana's school uniform is revealed in the '2x2 LOVE' story event. To help rebrand Mimir High School, she joins the Commander and Privaty as a student.
