Wemade is officially launching the global version of its MMORPG 'Legend of YMIR' on the PC platform Steam today. This move is aimed at expanding its reach to global PC users and driving new user acquisition. Alongside the Steam launch, the new 'Rune Fighter' class is also being added to the global service.

Legend of YMIR follows the narrative of warriors fighting to restore fate and order in a world plunged into chaos before the onset of Ragnarok in Norse mythology. The game features graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5 and distinct combat mechanics. The new Rune Fighter class engages in close-quarters combat, using gauntlets and greaves to deal powerful damage with punches and kicks. The Rune Fighter's signature skill, 'Barrier', enhances the abilities of nearby allies while reducing the combat efficiency of enemies, making it a strategic asset on large-scale battlefields.

Wemade introduced the game to the global market last October through the blockchain game platform WEMIX PLAY, Google Play, and the Apple App Store, recording approximately 200,000 concurrent users at the time. With this Steam entry, Wemade aims to allow even more global PC users to experience Legend of YMIR. Please note that some blockchain features are not available in the Steam version.
