A fierce scramble for the top

The real story of last season was the brutal competition between the top-tier players. Titans like Oksuwadance, Gisado, Cheonhacheongeom, and Hoiti were locked in a desperate struggle, and for good reason—bragging rights aside, the victors secure a juicy Tower of Challenge trial ranking buff for the next month.

The margins were incredibly tight, with 0.5-second gaps deciding who took the glory. Oksuwadance claimed the crown by clearing floor 59 in 8.39 seconds, while Gisado followed with 8.94, Cheonhacheongeom with 9.39, and Hoiti with 9.88. It was a proper nail-biter, with players grinding until the final bell to shave off those precious milliseconds.

Elsewhere, the Fighter class is seeing a massive surge in popularity. With more top-tier players migrating to the Black Night 5th Archipelago, many have swapped to the Fighter for its superior farming efficiency. Furthermore, the Fighter has a distinct edge when it comes to clearing the 27-monster swarm required on floor 58 of the tower. Unsurprisingly, this has led to a 7 percentage point spike in the Fighter's share of the top rankings.

Switching gears to class-specific records, we’ve seen some fresh faces in the Hall of Fame. The likes of Stormcaster Saseum, Archer Blackhyeony, and Priest Michinsangdu have clawed their way to the top. That said, it seems a fair few veterans simply jumped ship to Fighter or Holy Knight, leaving these spots open for the taking.
