On the 8th, Raven 2 rolled out a balance adjustment update for the Elementalist class. Alongside this, the game has kicked off Season 9 of the class change system and the 'Abyssal Soul Hot Time' event.

As previously hinted in their developer commentary, the team has finally tweaked the Elementalist’s skill kit. They’ve polished the casting animations for 'Fire Bolt' and 'Frost Bind', while also bumping up their efficiency by allowing them to strike up to two targets. 'Lightning Shock' and 'Chain Lightning' have received similar love, with their target cap now extended to four.

'Final Destruction' has also been upgraded; it now carries a chance to strip away an enemy's immunity to debuffs, giving the Elementalist a much more favourable position in the thick of a scrap.

To cap things off, the armour-shredding effect of 'Dissolve Armour' has been buffed from its previous 60-80% proc rate to a guaranteed 100% chance, and 'Ultimate Element' now refreshes the duration of burn, frost, and lightning effects. Especially, the lightning effect duration has been extended to 30 seconds, and with an increased stack limit, the quality-of-life improvements here are quite substantial.

The Season 9 class change event runs until the 15th. This time around, they've added a weapon resonance adjustment step to the process, allowing players to swap out normal and high-grade weapon resonance for free, no tokens required. Just a heads up: changing your class will wipe your standing in the Tower of Chaos rankings, so tread carefully.

Meanwhile, Raven 2 is also running the 'Abyssal Soul Hot Time' event, which boosts your yield of Abyssal Souls in the Abyss region, alongside the '[Balton] Imperial Hunting Request' event that rewards you with the final material needed for limited-time collections: 'Fragment of Guarded Light'.
