The fan-favourite Dragon Ridge Valley has made a triumphant return. Having been sidelined alongside the 'Chain Islands' for some content polishing, it’s back as a limited-time event battlefield. To ensure smoother matchmaking for participants, the developers have pivoted from its previous always-on status to a seasonal event. It runs from March 31st to April 13th at 4:00 AM. You’ve got about three days left to jump in—we expect the Chain Islands to rotate back in once this window closes.

The rules for Dragon Ridge Valley remain largely familiar, though the pace has been tweaked. With adjusted match durations, scoring thresholds, boss spawn timings, and buff acquisition rates, the combat tempo feels significantly faster. The community's enthusiasm is palpable, further bolstered by an ongoing verification event that’s driving player participation.

The 'NEW Dragon Ridge Valley! Challenge the Event Battlefield!' event invites you to verify your participation. Simply upload a screenshot to the designated event board on the official community; as long as your character name is visible in the Dragon Ridge Valley, you're all set. Q. Are the field boss 'Hongmun Record Collectibles' untradeable?
A. A fix for this error is in the works, and compensation will be provided.

A player named 'Jeok-in-geol' raised a question regarding field boss rewards. Following the update, players were finding that the 'Participation Reward Box' from faction field bosses only contained untradeable items. These 'Hongmun Record Collectibles' were never intended to be locked to a single player, and the developers have confirmed this is a post-update bug.

You can find the details on the 'Issue Check/Action Items' board under the 'Post-Update Confirmed Issues' post. The team is currently working on a fix and has promised to distribute proper compensation once it’s resolved. If you’ve been affected by this, please refer to GM Soyul’s official response.

The Hot and Cold 'Force Master'

It’s time to complete the Nonogram for the Force Master, whose extensive balance patch notes left quite an impression. I thought I’d finish the puzzle by the time I finished researching the class changes, but the complexities of the fire and frost mechanics seem to require a bit more study time.

Luckily, the puzzle itself should be a breeze. There are no hints this time, but because the Force Master is leaning to the left, the right side of the grid is relatively easier. Check the final design below to see a Lyn Force Master wielding their focus.

Gotta Get Stronger! 'Artillerist & Dual Blade'

This balance patch had everyone talking, especially the Dual Blade faithful who are desperate to recapture their glory days. During their brief peak, they were so lethal in PvE they earned the nickname 'moths to a flame'—diving headfirst into the fray to unleash a storm of skills before meeting their end.

The Artillerist, on the other hand, was already considered quite solid, so few expected much from the balance update. Yet, they received a nice surprise: invincibility against melee damage during 'Surprise Shot' and a debuff effect on 'Hunter Toss'. For those who expected little, it’s a welcome boon.
