'Raven 2' is running the [Balton] Empire (hereinafter Balton Empire) and 'Comac' event series until the 4th week of April. The Comac event, which kicked off in the 3rd week of April, ties directly into the Balton Empire series. Rewards include 'Remnants of Light', a crafting material for the Balton Empire event, and the 'Comac's Secret Backpack' (hereinafter Secret Backpack), a random box. Depending on how you tackle specific event tasks, your strategy for clearing everything and claiming rewards changes. It’s a bit of a headache for casual players, small guilds, or solo players. This time, we’ve put together a solution for those challenges.

Q. How can solo players or small guilds tackle the Comac's Treasure Hunt?
A. You can easily clear it by teaming up with just 2 or 3 people.

The main event to watch in this series is the Comac's Treasure Hunt. You clear it by completing: 'Guild Dungeon 1 completion - Guild Attendance 7 times - Guild Donation 12 times - Guild Weekly Achievement 1 completion'. The total reward is 24 Secret Backpacks. While the difficulty is relatively low, the 'Guild Weekly Achievement 1 completion' part is a bit tricky. For guilds filled with low-spec or casual players, or for lone wolves, it’s quite a task. However, this is achievable with as few as 2 or 3 guild members. The target is to kill 50 Rift Bosses to clear '[Weekly] Rift Cleanup 1'. It’s the least volatile and most efficient of the three weekly achievements.

Here is the math: Rift Bosses appear twice a day, at 12:30 PM and 8:30 PM. Boss monsters spawn sequentially in Velucia, Deron, and Romern. That means one player can hit 6 kills a day, totaling 42 a week, which leaves you 8 short of the goal. You only need one low-spec guildmate hanging around Velucia to help you out, and you’ll hit the target easily, as they add 2 more kills per day.

Don't have any casual players around? Use the 'friend card'. Just ask them to help out for the event period. Set up your auto-hunt at the location where the Velucia rift opens, and just keep an eye on the timing and your participation. Of course, the more helpers you have to bridge the gap, the less time you’ll spend on it.

The crux of the matter is that smaller guilds must complete the guild weekly achievement task within the 3rd week of April. The Comac event ends at 4:59 AM on April 22nd, so you have only two days and a few hours left. By then, you’ll need to have finished tasks like killing 500,000 monsters or 20,000 Abyss monsters. Even those who enjoy Raven 2 casually can pull this off, so don't give up.

Q. What happens if I can't clear the Treasure Hunt event?
A. You'll lose out on Remnants of Light, the event crafting material.

What if you fail to fully clear the Comac's Treasure Hunt mission? The core of this mission is hoarding Secret Backpacks. Assuming you've cleared everything else, missing that one guild weekly achievement results in a shortage of 13 backpacks. Based on events revealed as of April 13th, you’d only collect 37 in total. This creates a bottleneck for your 'Comac's Secret Trade' progress. Since the condition to fully clear that event is to use 40 Secret Backpacks, you’d be exactly 3 short. You lose out on both the chance to open backpacks and the farming of Remnants of Light.

Next, check the 'Crafting - Event - Empire's Treasure Vault' page. You use the Remnants of Light gathered from the Balton Empire and Comac events to craft 'Hero Crafting Blueprint Fragments - Relic Stones - High-Grade Essence - Hero Heavystone Polishing Agent - Radiant Rare Heavystone Selection Box'. If you have nothing left to craft here, the need to grind for Remnants of Light drops significantly. The importance of the method mentioned in the first paragraph also decreases.

The results from opening your Secret Backpacks are another variable. There is a 3.5% chance to get Remnants of Light when opened. Weigh whether to push for the mission based on your farming and crafting status. For instance, I only need Hero Crafting Blueprint Fragments and Relic Stones from my wishlist, so I'm considering skipping the guild weekly achievement and focusing on other content.

Q. Should I really exchange for the Heavystone box that pops up on the table?
A. It serves as a substitute for skill acquisition, collection completion, and polishing agents.

Heavystone exchange boxes frequently appear in Raven 2 event rewards or crafting tables. The Balton Empire crafting page also includes a Radiant Rare Heavystone Selection Box. Players who have already learned all the skills from these boxes might wonder if they're necessary. Think bigger: these boxes aren't just for learning new skills; they also double as materials for Heavystone polishing agents and collection entries. Duplicate Heavystones can be used to reset skill levels. It seems the absence of Rare Heavystone Polishing Agents in this event's crafting materials is for that very reason.

Pay special attention to items in the Heavystone exchange box that offer high efficiency when leveled up. Look for ones that provide meaningful stat buffs rather than just minor coefficient increases. 'Focus' (Rare grade) or 'Multi-shot' and 'Dark Frost Touch' (Advanced grade) are prime examples.
