Playwith Korea and Playwith Games are expanding their global licensing business, focusing on their core IPs, ROHAN and SEAL.

Playwith Korea recently launched an official IP licensing hub site to strengthen the foundation for global partnerships. The site is currently available in English and Simplified Chinese, with plans to support additional languages including Traditional Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, and Portuguese in the future.

The IP hub site is structured around a portfolio that introduces the worldviews and content of representative games like ROHAN and SEAL. Based on this, it presents possibilities for genre expansion and business cooperation models. It includes specific collaboration directions for global developers and publishers, such as co-development, licensing agreements, and localization strategies.

Through this licensing business, Playwith Korea aims to increase IP awareness while reducing development risks and diversifying its revenue structure. By doing so, the company plans to secure a diverse game lineup and strengthen its competitiveness in the global market.

In fact, Playwith Korea, along with Playwith Games, signed a SEAL IP licensing agreement with Thai game developer MAXION Games this past March. MAXION Games has previously released several successful titles by reinterpreting popular game IPs in the local Thai market and has currently begun development on a new title based on the SEAL IP.

Currently, Playwith Korea is conducting global co-publishing for SEAL M on CROSS with NEXUS, which continues to maintain popularity in the Southeast Asian region.

A representative from Playwith Korea stated, "ROHAN and SEAL are global IPs that have been loved for a long time, and they possess great potential to expand into various genres and platforms. Centered around this IP hub, we will expand cooperation with global developers to establish a stable revenue structure and a foundation for sustainable growth."

Meanwhile, Playwith Korea plans to accelerate its leap into a global IP business company by signing additional global partnerships and continuously discovering new projects based on its IPs.
