With Mythic grades now firmly within reach—and Awakening upgrades becoming the new norm—the burning question is: which ones should you actually invest in? We’ve crunched the numbers to help you decide.

Q. If I'm looking for the best Mythic spirit, where should I put my money?
A. Our top recommendations are: Guardian Divine Dragon > Barkan > Tyran.

The current Mythic spirit roster includes Guardian Divine Dragon, Barkan, Irenua, Tyran, and Arslan. If you want the most bang for your buck, the Guardian Divine Dragon is your absolute priority. It hits the ground running with 29 Attack, 29 Critical, and 28.5% All Damage. Once awakened, it further boosts your Critical Damage, PvP Block Damage Reduction, Incoming All Damage Reduction, and Movement Speed.

It is the only spirit to offer a Critical stat, making it effectively better for grinding, boss encounters, and PvP alike. As you push into hunting grounds above level 122, you'll find that raw Accuracy isn't enough—you'll be starved for Critical stats. If you aren't running the Guardian Divine Dragon, your lack of crits will cause your hunting efficiency to nosedive.

Next in line are Barkan and Tyran. While they lack the Critical stat found on the Guardian Divine Dragon, they compensate with extra Defense Penetration upon Awakening. If your Critical stat is already capped, Barkan can technically pump out higher raw damage. However, let’s be real: as you climb to higher-level zones, you’ll inevitably need that Critical stat, so the Guardian Divine Dragon remains the gold standard unless your other gear has a very specific niche.

Before the Awakening system was introduced, players would swap to defensive spirits for survivability. Nowadays, the stat gap introduced by Awakening is so significant that unless you’ve reached level 2 Awakening, a defensive spirit just doesn't pull its weight. That said, if you can hit level 2 Awakening, choose Irenua over Arslan. Irenua’s base stat offers resistance to Crowd Control, which is a lifesaver for mitigating Stun and Bind effects in PvP.

The current Mythic mount lineup features Khanmor, Zorhak, Duaka Incarnation, and Dawn Golden Lion. Zorhak is the clear winner for similar reasons as the Guardian Divine Dragon: it is the only mount that provides a base Critical stat. In this game, pushing your Critical stat to the limit is non-negotiable.

Of course, if your combat power is on the lower end, you might find yourself desperate for Accuracy rather than Critical hits. If you miss, you're doing zero damage, simple as that. In those specific cases, stick with Khanmor. However, with the addition of knot equipment and higher-tier gear, most players will find their Accuracy hitting comfortable levels, making Zorhak the inevitable long-term choice.

If your focus is the Black Night 5th Isle, the 2-Awakened Duaka Incarnation—with its unique 'Tyrant's Leap' skill—is your priority. Since all monsters in the 5th Isle are aggressive, defensive stats are just as vital as offensive ones. The 2-Awakened Duaka Incarnation balances defensive stats with enough Attack, Critical, and All Damage to be a powerhouse. Plus, the 'Tyrant's Leap' skill lets you round up and clear massive mobs every minute, which is just the icing on the cake.
