Right, mark your calendars: Netmarble is kicking off the nickname reservation event for Netmarble Neo's new action RPG, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, starting 2:00 PM on May 8. You simply need to log in to the official Game of Thrones: Kingsroad website and hit that 'Reserve Nickname' button to secure your spot.

Before that, there is a bit of a preview coming our way. On May 7 at 8:00 PM, the official Game of Thrones: Kingsroad YouTube channel will drop a special video featuring Netmarble Neo PD Jang Hyun-il. He’ll be tipping his hat to the players who joined the closed beta, sharing the results, and outlining some key changes based on player feedback.

As for the game itself, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is an open-world action RPG set during the events of season 4 of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO series. It’s an officially licensed project, and the team seems to be going all-in on historical fidelity to bring that gritty world and its characters to life. It’s set to land on PC on May 14, followed by a mobile launch on the 21st.

Pre-registrations have been rolling since February 24. If you sign up via PC, you’ll pocket a Northern outfit costume, a pack of 10 elixirs, and 5 Night’s Watch supply chests. Opt for the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and you’ll get a profile border, a background decoration item, and a character customisation ticket.
