New co-op shooters from the Girls' Frontline and Reverse Collapse universes have been announced. These include 'Girls' Frontline: Blue Butterfly Contract' from Team Hekate—the developers behind Girls' Frontline: Fire Control—and MICA Team’s 'Reverse Collapse: F'.

Sunborn Network unveiled the two new titles during the Girls' Frontline 10th Anniversary Music Carnival held in Shanghai on the 2nd. First is 'Girls' Frontline: Blue Butterfly Contract', developed by Team Hekate.

Based on the Girls' Frontline universe, this title combines third-person shooting with PvE co-op gameplay. Players move in squads of four, and unlike the strategy and character-management focus of previous titles, this game emphasizes team-based action. The series' signature aesthetic and firearm designs are preserved. 'Girls' Frontline: Blue Butterfly Contract' is scheduled for release later this year.

Next, 'Reverse Collapse: F' is a third-person co-op shooter currently in development by MICA Team. Players take on the role of individuals with unique talents, venturing into terrifying, unknown territories in search of hope for humanity's survival. In the near future, collapsing particles have contaminated the world, destroying global order and triggering wars that have brought humanity to the brink of extinction. Amidst this, survivors discover a 'false god' and the abnormal spacetime it has brought forth.

The title is built on Unreal Engine 5 and presents a grim sci-fi world with a heavier tone, featuring more realistic environments compared to previous Girls' Frontline titles. Players can also utilize cover mechanics to hide from incoming enemies. 'Reverse Collapse: F' is targeting a 2028 release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and mobile platforms.
