A unique new game called 'Bow-wow Battle' has been released on Steam, where you compete against others by barking into your microphone. It supports automatic matchmaking, allowing you to bark and battle against players from around the world in real-time.

Bow-wow Battle is a 1v1 real-time competitive game where you play as a dog and bark loudly into your microphone. You choose one of seven breeds and bark to fill your gauge to 100% to win. Both the volume and frequency of your barks affect the outcome; you need to bark clearly and distinctly to secure a victory.

There are seven breeds available: Shiba Inu, Pomeranian, Chihuahua, Toy Poodle, French Bulldog, Welsh Corgi, and Golden Retriever, which can be unlocked using points earned from victories. In addition to multiplayer matchmaking, the game includes a Story Mode where you defeat everything from park dogs to legendary canines, and a Crab Survival mode where you blast away incoming crabs with your voice. You can earn extra points by completing three daily tasks, and specific titles like 'Shiba Master' are awarded for achieving high win counts with certain breeds.

Following the early access period, the developer plans to add new breeds such as Pugs, Huskies, and Dobermans, as well as new background stages, a six-tier ranking system, and Steam achievements.

Bow-wow Battle was released on Steam on May 1st and supports English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
