DreamAge announced on the 6th that its mobile match-3 puzzle game, 'In the SEOM with BTS', has released its May update. This update is centered around the new album 'ARIRANG' by the artist BTS.

The update introduces a new special costume set, 'ROOTED IN KOREA', which reflects the style of BTS and is available for purchase from the 5th through July 7th. During the same period, an 'ARIRANG' themed card collection will also be added. Players who complete the collection by gathering the new cards will receive various puzzle item rewards and a special badge inspired by the traditional Korean percussion instrument, the 'Jwago'.

From the 8th until July 7th, the 'ARIRANG Comeback Commemorative Stage' event will be held. The Gwanghwamun stage, where BTS held their comeback live show, has been recreated in the game, and players can enjoy the story and participate in various missions. Upon completing the missions, players will receive the S-grade decoration, 'Gwanghwamun Geunjeongmun', as a reward.

In addition, a new themed Play Pass has been updated. Players can collect points earned after completing puzzles to acquire costumes, card packs, hearts, and boosters. Furthermore, starting June 9th, a special web event will be held to commemorate the 4th anniversary of In the SEOM. Completing event missions provides various in-game rewards and automatically enters players into a physical merchandise giveaway. Prizes, including In the SEOM figures, 2025 FESTA merch, and official BTS merchandise, will be awarded weekly through a raffle.
