Pokémon Korea announced on the 8th that the Pokémon Trading Card Game '2026 Korean League Final Season' will be held at COEX Hall C in Samseong-dong for two days, from the 24th to the 25th of this month. This event serves as the grand finale of the '2026 Korean League' that kicked off last November, acting as the stage to select the South Korean representatives for the 'Pokémon World Championships 2026'.

Registration is available via the official Pokémon Trading Card Game website until the 13th of this month. The competition kicks off with the Swiss Round preliminaries on the 24th, followed by the top 16 tournament and the grand final on the 25th. The final match will be broadcast live on the official Pokémon Korea YouTube channel, allowing fans who cannot attend in person to enjoy the intense matches.

Every competitor will receive a participation lanyard, original card sleeves, and the promo card 'Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex'. Visitors will also receive special gifts, such as a commemorative medal for the smartphone version of Pokémon HOME. The venue will feature a beginner's classroom, 2-player free battles, a mini-league using the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection, and various mini-game zones with prizes.

This Final Season is part of the 'Pokémon Sports Day 2026', commemorating the franchise's 30th anniversary. In addition to the card game, the event will feature the Pokémon Trainers Cup 2026, a 30th-anniversary exhibition, licensed merchandise booths, pop-up stores, and stage events. Top-ranking players based on cumulative points will earn the right to represent South Korea at the 'Pokémon World Championships 2026' in San Francisco. The national team will consist of 16 Juniors, 16 Seniors, and 22 Masters.
