NC has updated its MMORPG AION 2 on the 13th with a new transcendence dungeon, 'Mirror of Red Yearning', along with various system updates. This update introduces three new Arcana set effects, expanded Arcana crystal extraction options, increased dungeon rewards, and a new daily dungeon, 'Cropakin's Secret Vault'. Additionally, several quality-of-life improvements have been implemented to enhance user convenience.

The new transcendence dungeon, 'Mirror of Red Yearning', is themed around a fantasy space created by the romantic heart among the fragmented pieces of Kromede. The dungeon requires a minimum item level of 3,200 to enter, with level requirements increasing based on difficulty. Alongside this, three new Arcana sets—'Punishment', 'Guardian', and 'Indomitable'—have been added. The 'Punishment' set effect increases boss damage resistance, 'Guardian' boosts regeneration, and 'Indomitable' raises weapon damage resistance by 5% each. These can be crafted using 'Noble Crystals (Imprint)' obtained by clearing 'Mirror of Red Yearning'.

Arcana crystal extraction options have also been expanded. Players can now extract Season 1 and 2 Arcana into 'Mysterious Crystals (Imprint)' and Season 3 Arcana into 'Noble Crystals (Imprint)'. NC has enhanced dungeon rewards, increasing the weekly reward limit for Expedition content from 14 to 21, and for Transcendence content from 7 to 14. Furthermore, rewards in the form of the in-game currency 'Kinah' have been increased for Tier 4 Expeditions like 'Dead Dramata's Nest' and Tier 5 Expeditions like 'Corridor of Illusion'. The new daily dungeon, 'Cropakin's Secret Vault', has also been added, where players dodge bombs for up to 40 seconds to collect coins and earn Kinah as a reward.

In addition, NC has applied various convenience updates, including an expanded dungeon invitation list, a revamped product lineup for the Breeze Merchant, a boss rear-attack indicator, seven new emblems, and HUD preset functions. The AION 2 development team introduced upcoming content in a live broadcast on the 12th, announcing that a new sanctuary, 'Muspel's Grail', will be added on May 27th.

NC will host an AION 2 showcase in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on June 14th. Applications for the showcase can be submitted via the official AION 2 website until May 25th, and a total of 150 users will be invited to the event through a lottery. The list of winners will be announced on June 1st.
