Black Desert Mobile is taking part in the 'Green Game Jam', a global environmental challenge supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). As the sole South Korean game among 57 participating companies worldwide, Black Desert Mobile is joining a campaign to raise awareness about environmental protection and sustainability through its in-game content.

Now in its seventh year, the Green Game Jam is a global initiative launched in 2019 under the 'Playing for the Planet' alliance, spearheaded by UNEP. This alliance actively promotes environmental protection and sustainability values through various gaming-related activities. Black Desert Mobile is participating as part of the 'Rainforest Team', alongside 57 global game developers, including Ubisoft's Just Dance 2026 Edition and Rovio Entertainment's Angry Birds Friends.

Black Desert Mobile is rolling out an in-game event designed to naturally introduce players to the importance of environmental protection through their gameplay. Until the maintenance period on the 19th, adventurers can receive a 'Birch Sapling Pouch' via their in-game mailbox. By planting five birch saplings in their village, players will be rewarded with an 'Environmental Protection Box', which includes 20,000 Tears of the High Goddess, 3,000 Spirit of Light, and 1,000 Village Growth Boxes. Furthermore, adventurers who share screenshots of their planted trees on the official Black Desert Mobile forums will receive an additional 10,000 Enhancement Restoration Vouchers.

Meanwhile, Black Desert Mobile has also improved the acquisition rate of 'Essence of the Void', a key growth material for adventurers. In addition, a new World Boss has been added to the 'Clash' content, and the 'Twisted Nightmare: Doseong' content has been revamped. Pearl Abyss plans to continue with updates that aid adventurers in their growth and settlement, while also furthering its commitment to promoting environmental values and social good both inside and outside the game.
