Shift Up has announced that its action-adventure title, Stellar Blade, is making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.

The news dropped during the 'Nintendo Direct 2026' showcase on the 9th. Having already graced the PS5 and PC, the game is now broadening its horizons to include the Nintendo Switch 2. You can catch a glimpse of the title's action and visuals, now optimised for Nintendo's new hardware, in the official trailer provided below.

Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-tae, who serves as the game's director, shared his enthusiasm: "It's truly meaningful for Stellar Blade to reach an even wider audience via the Nintendo Switch 2. We are working hard to ensure that the signature action and immersion remain fully intact on this new platform."

For the uninitiated, Stellar Blade follows the remnants of humanity who, after losing a bitter war against the alien 'Naytiba', are forced to retreat to space. The story kicks off as EVE, a member of the 7th Airborne Squad, descends to Earth to purge the threat and uncover the truth alongside new allies across zones like Eidos 7 and the Wasteland. The title originally launched as a PS5 exclusive in April 2024, before hitting Steam last June.
