PlayStation is set to officially launch its new DualSense wireless controller, the 'Chroma Blue Special Edition', on July 30 in Korea. Pre-orders will begin on July 2, with the recommended retail price set at 129,000 KRW.

The Chroma Blue Special Edition is presented as a celebration of PlayStation's history and heritage. It features a blend of various blue hues, paired with the iconic PlayStation shapes pattern shimmering across the touchpad. As a nod to the brand's roots, the rear of the controller even sports 'PlayStation' inscribed in Japanese katakana.

Leo Cardoso, Senior Designer on the PlayStation Colour, Material, and Finish design team, commented on the new edition: "The moment you power up your console and the DualSense controller lights up, that specific blue glow signals the start of something special." He added, "Inspired by the various shades of blue that define PlayStation, we wanted this design to capture that sense of anticipation and excitement every time you pick it up."

Pre-orders for the DualSense wireless controller Chroma Blue Special Edition will begin on July 2 via official retailers. Please note that pre-orders will close automatically once available stock is exhausted.
