Netmarble announced that The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has climbed back to the top of the Steam bestseller charts in various regions following its 100-day anniversary update. The game reached No. 1 in Japan, 3rd in Italy, 5th in France, 9th in Germany, 10th in Korea, and 13th in Spain.

The core of the update is the new hero 'Elizabeth' and a limited-time summer story event. In the original series, Elizabeth appears as Meliodas's love interest and Tristan's mother; in the game, she joins as a support-type hero utilizing her healing abilities. To celebrate the update, Netmarble held a special official broadcast and released a character promotional video (PV).

The summer season story event takes place in the new region, 'Splashing Island.' Players can enjoy gathering, mining, and battling field monsters to earn rewards, including swimsuit costumes.

A 100-day anniversary login event will run until July 15, offering 100 standard hero summon tickets, an SSR weapon selection chest, a large cube key bundle, and a shimmering charm potion.
