Netmarble has rolled out the 1.2 update for Mon-Gil: Star Dive.

The 'Unforgettable First Summer, Summer Dive!' event is running until July 29. Players can head to the new 'Summer Rain' map, which features summer festival-themed attractions like water slides and balance-testing log bridge mini-games.

Two new 5-star characters join the roster: the Earth-attribute support type 'Francis: Summer Dive!' and the Fire-attribute brawler 'Verna: Summer Dive!'. To help you add them to your collection, the developer is handing out over 100 summon tickets and plenty of in-game currency through the Summer Special 7-Day Gift and Summer Festival Mission events.

A new 'Field Dispatch' system has also been introduced. By dispatching characters to specific regions, players can automate monsterling collection, gathering, and mining—a welcome relief for those looking to trim down the repetitive grind.

The legendary monsterling 'Reginula' also makes an appearance. Reginula utilizes an exclusive Link Chain skill and joins the character on the field to fight directly. Additionally, the update includes features for changing and upgrading monsterling traits, adjusted success rates for mutant monsterling synthesis, and higher tiers for subjugation content.
