The core hook here is a blend of strategy simulation and deduction. Every recruit starts off under a pseudonym, with their true names, stats, and loyalty completely obscured. You have to burn precious turns and resources just to figure out who is who. You might think you’re assigning a grunt to interior management, only to realize later that you’ve accidentally put Zhuge Liang on paperwork, or worse, sent Lu Bu to the front lines without a clue.

The game kicks off with you choosing subordinates in a random city, juggling domestic affairs, diplomacy, espionage, and combat while simultaneously playing detective. The Early Access build covers the period from 190 to 210 AD, featuring 30 warlords and 953 generals. You can choose between Real Name, Mixed, or Pseudonym modes to suit your playstyle. For those looking for a challenge, there are even hardcore options like 'Full Pseudonym' and 'Messenger Required' to really turn up the heat.

The developers are aiming for an Early Access period of about 6 to 12 months. During this time, the team plans to polish campaign pacing, AI decision-making, and combat balance based on player feedback. They are also committed to smoothing out the mid-to-late game experience and tweaking event sequences and identity-reveal mechanics to keep the community happy.
