Despite the overall stillness at the top, there were some meaningful leaps outside the top 10. First, we must mention 'Pokemon GO'. It is the mobile game that saw the largest surge in metrics this week. It seems the large-scale event commemorating the 10th anniversary of its service has really paid off. Many players flocked to the 'Pokemon GO Fest 2026: Global' event held near Banpo Hangang Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on July 12.

Thanks to this, Pokemon GO successfully broke into the TOP 10 and is now locked in a struggle with 9th-place 'Pokemon Champions'. The rivalry between these two 'Pokemon' IP games is quite compelling. Given the current momentum, Pokemon GO is likely to climb even higher in the 4th weekly tally of July.

The skyward flight of 'Three Kingdoms: Great Battle' and 'The War of Genesis Mobile' also draws attention. Both managed to jump 16 and 12 spots respectively—a staggering feat. Even in the volatile mobile sector, such a rise is rarely seen.

For 'Three Kingdoms: Great Battle', the launch buzz worked perfectly. It built up anticipation by surpassing 1 million pre-registrations before release. After a somewhat modest debut at 36th last week, search volume exploded over the past seven days, catapulting it straight into the 20th spot. With this kind of momentum, it will likely settle comfortably in the teens next week.

The War of Genesis Mobile benefited from a massive update celebrating its 2.5-year anniversary. It packed in all sorts of content, including the new Outer 'Iron Mask', exclusive weapons, and fresh activities. An increase in metrics was a natural result. With various events prepared for new and returning users, the outlook for The War of Genesis Mobile remains quite bright for the time being.

Online – Top-tier games make gains together

The online game chart saw some noteworthy movement at the very top. While it might look calm on the surface, search volumes for 1st-place 'League of Legends', 2nd-place 'FC Online', 3rd-place 'MapleStory', and 5th-place 'Lost Ark' all trended upward simultaneously. Since there was a significant gap between them, no actual ranking changes occurred.

However, the situation for 4th-place 'Lineage Classic' was the polar opposite. Unlike the games mentioned above, its metrics dropped. As a result, the gap with Lost Ark has narrowed drastically. If this week's trend continues, we might see a change in ownership of the 4th spot soon.

Activity within the top 10 was quite brisk. As 'Crazy Arcade BnB' dropped four spots, 'Sudden Attack', 'The Great Merchant', 'VALORANT', and 'PUBG' all moved up in tandem. In particular, 'PUBG' enjoyed the thrill of successfully returning to the TOP 10.

When Palworld first debuted, it left some players wanting more in terms of depth. The developer addressed this by consistently adding new islands, raids, and enhancing polish. Since 2025, various collaborations have been held, and this 1.0 version significantly expanded endgame content, including a level cap increase and the ability to explore the World Tree directly. This strategy seems to have paid off, and at this rate, returning to the TOP 3 is well within reach.

Another title of note is 'Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced' (18th, NEW). As a remake of 'Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag', it follows the journey of pirate Edward Kenway as he becomes a member of the Assassin Brotherhood.
