On August 13, Nexon announced a new season for Dungeon & Fighter Mobile, titled 'Pandemonium', alongside a level cap expansion. The level ceiling has been increased from 85 to 90, introducing a new narrative arc involving the diviner Iris and adventurers who have fallen into the world of Pandemonium. The update also adds the new dungeon area 'Metro Center' and five types of 'Farming Dungeons'.

These farming dungeons offer four difficulty tiers based on your Exorcism rating. By using 'Haegeumdo', players can tackle the forbidden dungeon 'Magic Realm' without consuming fatigue points or being restricted by entry limits, earning the new currency 'Gold Coin'. This currency is tradeable on the auction house and provides a discount when reinforcing level 80 gear. If players collect 'Bismuth Comets' within the Magic Realm, they can challenge the secret dungeon 'Astral Rift' to obtain high-end 'Legacy Exceed' gear materials and 'Weapon Avatar Boxes'.

A massive influx of new gear has arrived. The update introduces level 80 and 85 weapons and equipment, allowing for diverse builds such as the '5.3.3 set' for mixing and matching armor, accessories, and special gear, or the '11-set' for those chasing powerful set bonuses. Furthermore, the developer has streamlined the gear management systems—reinforcement, polishing, and enchantment—into a single 'Enchant Slot', and added a feature to transfer trait options between gear pieces.

For top-tier players, 'Proof of Battlefield Season 2' is now live. Characters with a minimum Exorcism rating of 150,000 can participate, with up to three characters per adventurer team allowed weekly. From level 10 onwards, the competition turns into a leaderboard-driven race. Rewards for these encounters include the 'Level 85 Exceed Gear Pot', the 'Gear Reward Pot' containing new level 80 Epic gear, 'Lion Coques', and 'Polishing Stones' included in the 'Mysterious Material Selection Pouch'.

Mark your calendars for August 20, as the first elite dungeon of the season, 'Garden of Moonlight', is set to open. This instance continues the story following 'Erosion of Sirocco' and unlocks the 'Metro Center Village'. To enter, players need to reach level 90 and hit a minimum Exorcism rating of 170,000. Up to three players can tackle this in Normal, Expert, or Master difficulties, facing off against 'Yashin, the Walker of Moonlight' in a two-stage boss fight to earn level 85 and 80 gear and more 'Gold Coins'.

Nexon is also hosting a variety of events to celebrate the new season. Running until 6:00 AM on September 17, the 'Level-up to Pandemonium Life' event grants 'Distorted Prisms' for hitting levels 86 through 89, with a special 'Level 90 Achievement Gift Box'—complete with an exclusive title—waiting at the cap. Simultaneously, the 'I Want to be a Pandemonium Resident' event tasks players with missions like completing 'Metro Center' dungeons 20 times to earn items like 'Haegeumdo' and 'Pandemonium Fatigue Recovery Potions'.
