The final ancient citadel of August for Raven 2 has wrapped up. This ancient citadel overlapped with the Battle World period, meaning quite a few of the usual powerhouse guilds were notably absent. RoyalDanAEGgot, a regular victor that always seemed to ring the bells of triumph, is a prime example. As RoyalDanAEGgot and the rest of the Royal coalition stepped back, other guilds finally managed to carve their names onto the winners' chart. And over in Battle World, we saw a whole bunch of names popping up with striking similarities to the usual heavyweights, including GuardRoyalDanAEGgot. Among them, GuardRoyalDanAEGgot actually clinched victory in the Primeval Battlefield. After checking things out firsthand by hopping over to Battle World, the reporter found that guilds like Valentine, RaonA, and AEGIS have apparently packed up and moved as well.

As a quick heads-up, Battle World wraps up on September 2, followed by a server transfer period running from that day until September 8. The next ancient citadel is expected to take place on September 5. Expect the brackets to remain rather chaotic for a while until the server transfer schedule completely settles down.

Shall we circle back to the match results? With the powerhouses out of the picture, guilds that usually hovered around the middle of the brackets or had lower point totals finally found their moment of glory on the winner's charts. In the Primeval Battlefield, Lpyeonghwa, Villains, and Nangmyeon really caught the eye. They have been making quite a bit of noise in recent Raven 2 skirmishes, and have now finally added an ancient citadel victory to their resumes. Lpyeonghwa, in particular, secured their very first win in the Primeval Battlefield, bringing their overall record to '1 / 2 / 7 / 1' for a grand total of 11 wins. Meanwhile, Villains racked up a '1 / 3 / 1 / 0' showing. The ripple effects of Battle World are turning out to be much bigger than expected.

Over in the Elemental Battlefield, the ING guild boasts the highest point total. Their record sits at '0 / 3 / 2 / 4', bringing them to 9 wins in total. In the Battlefield of Life, Caltoigeun took the victory with a '0 / 1 / 5 / 3' record, also hitting 9 wins. They are showing a solid display of consistency by steadily collecting points in the ancient citadel battlegrounds they frequent.

Overall, we saw plenty of repeat winners alongside guilds grabbing their very first victories. That said, the absolute top-tier guilds are currently busy grinding away in Battle World, meaning no new point records for them. Consequently, there are no real shifts in the top-tier Raven 2 ancient citadel championship rankings this week. Looks like we will just have to wait until Battle World concludes before any serious race for celestial supremacy resumes.
