This announcement also detailed various additional content slated for inclusion in the free Update Version 2.0. Content titled 'Era of Confluence,' set in the era following the ending 'Miracle of Bonds,' is set to be added. This content offers short episodes for each character, allowing players to acquire new Blood Codes and explore the world alongside their preferred buddy. Additionally, 'Trials of Memory' features stages where players can engage in consecutive battles against bosses and enemies faced in the past, earning over 90 types of new customization parts as rewards.

Free Update Version 2.0 will introduce the ability to summon 'Jadviga' as a buddy character. Jadviga becomes available after completing her episode in the 'Era of Confluence,' supporting players with an aggressive combat style wielding a two-handed sword with one hand. Furthermore, a 'Story Mode' will be added to ease the progression of boss battles and exploration. Enabling this mode strengthens the player character to gain an advantage in combat, and it can be toggled on and off at any time from the options menu. A 'Character Shader' option for adjusting character appearance will also be added, allowing players to choose between the 'Original' expression of this title and the 'Legacy' mode closer to the previous game, Code Vein.

The Photo Mode is also getting expanded functionality through the update. Over 30 new poses and more than 20 new photo frames will be added, allowing for more diverse photography with selectable poses for different body types and a wider range of character positioning adjustments. The jukebox feature from the previous Code Vein game makes a triumphant return, letting players retrace the footsteps of their adventure while listening to select tracks from Code Vein, Code Vein 2, and the God Eater series.
