Netmarble is expanding the roster of its collectible RPG, Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, with the addition of a brand new hero named Hayeon.

Hayeon, who belongs to the Guardian of the Border faction and holds the title [Last Shrine Maiden], is a versatile supporter capable of slotting into both physical attack and magic decks thanks to her support-oriented kit. Alongside this, the publisher has rolled out an awakening for the existing legendary magic hero [Black Moon Witch] Velika, while also buffing her skills to make her pack a much harder punch in the key 'Infinity Tower' mode.

There is also a fresh PvE mode to sink your teeth into called 'Abyss Subjugation'. Four bosses rotate in and out, and you will want to deploy heroes and pets that meet specific conditions for each boss to inflate your combat power. Post-battle scores hand out raid tickets, and hitting specific combat power thresholds bags you a hefty one-off reward per account.

Quality-of-life adjustments have also landed. The developer has trimmed down the stage counts across Adventure, Growth Dungeons, and Raids, while waving goodbye to entry resource costs until you clear a stage for the very first time. The repetitive grinding system, affectionately known as 'jjoljak', now gets its own dedicated stage, meaning you can crack on with your regular Adventure progression while the grind runs in the background. Other nice-to-haves include a reserve key system that accumulates keys even when you are offline, plus a mileage feature that hands out extra goodies based on your hero pickup summon counts.

Then we have the 'Adventurer's Path', a neat new hub that consolidates previously scattered events into one tidy package. Cracking through the gameplay missions rewards you with five legacy Seven Knights heroes and a 5-star accessory selection chest. Meanwhile, fresh faces jumping into the game will get extra goodies including the legendary pets 'Windy' and 'Freya', alongside a legendary hero and pet selection ticket.

Naturally, an update of this scale wouldn't be complete without a flurry of launch events. Netmarble is running a 'Shinbaram Thanksgiving Push Event' for 14 days, handing out 3,000 rubies and a shining skill enhancement stone. There is also a 'Shinbaram Thanksgiving Selection Summon' letting you add previously released heroes like Seonran, Dongyoung, and Yoongeon to your wishlist. To top it all off, a dedicated Hayeon growth event will shower you with pickup summon tickets, shining skill enhancement stones, and inner embers as you acquire and level up Hayeon.

On August 3, Netmarble officially launched Seven Knights Re:BIRTH on the Galaxy Store. Early birds who pre-registered are treated to a legendary hero summon ticket III, a legendary egg, and a novice adventurer support equipment chest.
