All four of them are currently making waves everywhere thanks to their exceptional performance. Conveniently, Seven Knights Re:BIRTH has recently given its PvE content—including adventures, raids, and growth dungeons—a proper tune-up. The developers have streamlined the previously densely packed stages to ease the burden on newcomers and returning players alike. PvE Content Receives a Massive Overhaul

Growth Dungeons Now Favor Speed Clears

Following the major update on September 3, sweeping changes hit the PvE content. Adventure stages that were previously stretched across up to 50 areas per territory have been drastically trimmed down to a maximum of 20, while the 15 tiers of growth dungeons and raids have been compressed into just 5. It is a clear design philosophy aimed at simplifying the grind for newcomers and returning players.

While this reduces the overall grind, it also puts an end to the fodder leveling that players used to squeeze in alongside certain activities. This change is intended to narrow the gap in currency acquisition between beginners and veterans. Consequently, the new meta revolves around speedy clears. Since there is no longer a need to push for high scores, veteran players have made quick work of these recurring chores their primary goal. South Korean Heroes Trigger an Arena Generation Shift

Back in August, the PvP content in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH achieved a golden ratio of offensive, magic, and defensive builds. Because rankers could not possibly counter every single type of composition, they found themselves locked in tricky psychological warfare. The one who finally shattered that balance was Yoon-geon. As a magic-type hero, his introduction naturally tipped the scales toward magic decks early on.

Amidst this climate, the fourth South Korean original hero, Hayeon, arrived on September 2. Initially, her support-type position made her a welcome sight for defense teams. Although she possessed ally-support effects, the prevailing sentiment was that her innate support class would make her tricky to utilize. That verdict did not last long, however. Rankers soon flooded community boards with glowing reviews praising her utility, citing her buff-blocking ability to control enemy authority effects, her status as the sole means of lowering Sunlan's attack power, and her handy paralysis and debuff-cleansing skills.

Carried by this momentum, magic decks featuring all four South Korean heroes have recently surged in popularity. The setup places Sunlan at the front of an offensive formation, with Dong-young, Yoon-geon, and Hayeon tucked safely in the back. The final slot goes to a high-survival magic-type dealer, usually featuring Yeonhee or Omok.

This makes for quite a different sight compared to the Orca and Kyle Heron-based Sunlan offensive decks that dominated before Hayeon's arrival. Pushing the clock back even further, heavy-hitting main dealers like Awakened Dellons and Lu Bu have been pushed aside by the South Korean heroes. It looks like a complete generational turnover for the Arena's core roster. Going forward, the PvP meta shifts are expected to revolve around these four South Korean heroes and the next awakened character.

Descent of the Immortal Empress, Awakened Eileene!

During the previous Seven Knights Live broadcast, the developers announced that Hayeon would be the final new hero for September. Instead, they teased the New Wind Thanksgiving Selection Summon and position-based All-Star Pickups for new and returning adventurers. At the same time, they revealed the next awakened hero: none other than Awakened Eileene.

On September 11, Seven Knights Re:BIRTH uploaded a teaser video for Awakened Eileene via its official YouTube channel. Naturally, the biggest question on adventurers' minds is Eileene's post-awakening performance, and the footage showed a sequence hinting at her absorbing the power of Seven Knights character Rachel.

This prompted some adventurers to speculate that she might acquire PvE-focused abilities, interpreting the scene through the lens of Rachel's prominent exploits in that field. Furthermore, given her clash with Gelidus and the fiery visuals, many are wondering whether she might replace the old Seven Knights core meta. The definitive answer will be revealed in the upcoming update on September 17.

Demon Slayer Collaboration Scheduled for October 1

There is yet another piece of hot off the press news revealed on September 14: Seven Knights Re:BIRTH is teaming up with the smash-hit anime IP Demon Slayer. The collaboration kicks off on October 1, bringing new heroes Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Giyu Tomioka, and Shinobu Kocho into the fold.

The accompanying video offered a sneak peek at the characters' skill animations, faithfully reflecting the source material by having every single one of them wield a sword as a weapon. Naturally, Seven Knights Re:BIRTH adventurers are already busy guessing which combat types each character will fall into. Fans well-versed in the original work are tossing around the idea that since they all use swords but possess different elements, they might not all be restricted to offensive types.
