MocaSphere officially launched Yandere Virus on Steam on August 21st. Yandere Virus is a co-op horror title developed using the Scone Universe IP, supporting up to four players in co-op sessions.

A total of 11 virtual YouTubers appear as playable characters, including Io Mong, Maget, Angbo, Seno, Wido, Moa, Bukuki, Hajiyu, and Heeji from the VTuber group Michu, alongside Park Dona and Axolotl Lupa from Scone. The core gameplay revolves around cooperating with teammates to gather Platonic Pumpkins scattered across the maps, crafting a cure, and rescuing infected friends. These infected companions exhibit distorted affection and intense obsession, persistently hunting down the players.

Embracing the yandere character trope, the game delivers sweet yet threatening dialogue lines. By combining anime-styled character designs with cooperative multiplayer mechanics, it delivers a distinct brand of tension and gameplay experience unlike traditional horror titles. This design allows players to simultaneously experience the terror stemming from an infected friend's warped devotion and the necessity of teamwork.
