The 2026 Korea Game Awards will kick off in Busan on November 18.

Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organised by the Korea Association of Game Industry, this year's ceremony features a total of 13 categories, including the Grand Prize, Top Excellence Prize, Excellence Prize, Technical Creative Award, Popular Game Award, and Indie Game Award.

Submissions for the game awards will be accepted online and offline for 15 days, running from September 28 to October 12. Winners will be finalised by combining scores from a professional judging panel along with online voting by the general public and media (game journalists and game influencers), which takes place from October 26 to November 16.

Much like previous iterations, the event is linked with the Game of the Year awards organised by the Korea Creative Content Agency, meaning category winners from that initiative are automatically registered as candidates for the Korea Game Awards.
